Local bands Kiper, Tight Grips, TV EYE, and Dead Dog Summer join INmusic festival #16!

Great local acts with powerful sounds Kiper, Tight Grips, TV EYE and Dead Dog Summer are the latest additions to the already impressive INmusic festival #16 line-up!

Kiper is a hardcore punk quartet from Zagreb that has been around for more than 15 years, with two albums and three EPs under their belt. Soundwise, Kiper rumbles down the road that connects melodic with abrasive hardcore punk, all seasoned with sharp lyrics in their native language. Prior to the start of summer, a new EP, 'Aksiom', is expected.

Tight Grips is a power trio that came to be in the summer of 2014. So far, the band has released two albums: ‘Storyline’ and ‘Move Along', and recently, they announced their third release, ‘Endless Gifts for me, myself and I’. From one release to the next, they have changed their approach to music, and with that said, the upcoming album is by far the heaviest and most progressive, inspired by the grunge movement of the nineties as well as more recent stoner rock and prog rock releases. Tight Grips played several major festivals and embarked on a mini tour in Great Britain. In the more recent time, they have shared the stage with the almighty Villagers of Ioannina City.

TV EYE is a band with a passion for raw rock'n'roll sound. Their live performances are what distinguish the band, where they spread their rock'n'roll gospel with intense, loud, and energetic performances to the joy of everyone gathered and beyond. This was also recognised by Mast production, which embraced them under its wing, for which the debut album ‘Kick it out’ was released. TV EYE is currently preparing a new album and intensively playing concerts all over Croatia and the region.

Dead Dog Summer is a band from Čakovec, Croatia, that has been active in the independent music scene since the end of 2020. The band members are Igor Bistrović (vocals and guitar), Krešo Žerjav (bass and vocals), and Boris Strahija (drums). If you had to categorise Dead Dog Summer's music, it would be easiest to classify them as hardcore punk. They combine explosive guitar riffs with a solid rhythm section and a mix of singing and screaming vocals. In 2022, Dead Dog Summer released their debut album, ‘A Place of Someday’.
