Belle and Sebastian confirmed to join the postponed INmusic festival #15 line-up!
Indie pop's favourite Scots set for their debut Croatian performance at INmusic festival #15 in June 2021!
Belle and Sebastian was founded by Stuart Murdoch and Stuart David in Glasgow in 1994 where they released their debut album Tigermilk in 1996 under their college label Electric Honey in a 1,000 copy edition, making the original vinyl release a true indie collector’s item nowadays. That same year they released If You're Feeling Sinister under Jeepster Records, which will re-release their cult debut album in 1999, as well as their next three studio albums – The Boy With An Arab Strap, Fold Your Hands Child, You Walk Like a Peasant and Storytelling. Four more studio albums followed under the Rough Trade and Matador labels - Dear Catastrophe Waitress (2003), The Life Pursuit (2006), Belle and Sebastian Write About Love (2010), Girls in Peacetime Want to Dance (2015) – and their most recent release from 2019, the original movie score for Days of the Bagnold Summer, where the lead male role is played by Nick Cave's son, Earl Cave. Belle and Sebastian, with the band name taken from a TV adaptation of a French novel about a boy and his dog, are undoubtedly one of the most important indie pop bands and the genre's heavyweights with a fan base so loyal and dedicated that they were even officially elected „Scotland's greatest band“ amongst a very impressive list of Scottish musicians in 2005. Their long-awaited debut performance in Croatia will take place as part of the postponed anniversary edition of INmusic festival.
Belle and Sebastian will join The Killers and Nick Mason's Saucerful of Secrets at the postponed edition of INmusic festival #15 which will take place at Zagreb's lake Jarun from June 21st to June 23rd, 2021. Three day tickets for INmusic festival #15 are available via the official festival webshop for just 70 EUR, as well as 7-day festival camping tickets for just 35 EUR, while already purchased tickets for the initial INmusic festival #15 dates in June 2020, postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, remain valid for new INmusic festival #15 dates in 2021.
