Massive Attack are coming to INmusic festival #17 in June 2025!

Massive Attack, the pioneering force in the world of contemporary music, is the latest addition to the already impressive music program of INmusic festival #17!

Massive Attack emerged from the vibrant Bristol music scene in the late 1980s, blending hip-hop beats, dub rhythms, and atmospheric soul soundscapes to create the genre-defining sound of trip-hop, which would revolutionize electronic music. Globally renowned for their legendary albums like Blue Lines and Mezzanine, the duo's innovative approach has earned them critical acclaim as well as a loyal fan following. Their groundbreaking debut album, ‘Blue Lines’ (1991), is widely regarded as the first trip-hop album and includes the hauntingly atmospheric track ‘Unfinished Sympathy’, widely regarded as one of the greatest songs of all time. Subsequent albums like ‘Protection’ (1994) and ‘Mezzanine’ (1998) cemented their status, with ‘Mezzanine’ also topping the UK Albums Chart with the iconic track ‘Teardrop’. Beyond their music, Del Naja and Marshall have actively leveraged their platform to advocate for climate action and social justice, solidifying their status as both groundbreaking musicians and committed activists. Their efforts extend far beyond the stage, demonstrating that their impact resonates as powerfully in activism as it does in their artistry. "Our new live show marks the most transgressive leap in the collaboration between 3D x United Visual Artists since 2003. By reverse engineering algorithms to expose content anomalies & recursive feedback loops, we seek to provoke a dialogue on the broken dream of the confident, empowered individual 'self', in the context of the global collapse of liberal democracies," as stated by the band.

Massive Attack will bring their brooding beats, evocative lyrics, and visual artistry to the Main stage of INmusic festival #17, joining the already announced rock greats Kings of Leon, Fontaines D.C., St. Vincent and Yard Act, along with many more to follow. Three-day festival tickets for INmusic festival #17 are available via the official festival webshop for only 109 EUR (+ transaction fees), as well as seven-day camping tickets for 59 EUR (+ transaction fees).
