John Bull Gang
The John Bull Gang was formed in a basement in 2012, when Carl Sjöqvist and Henrik "Bille" Rudenborg were hanging out and drinking some beers one evening. They were tired of the lack of good music on the radio and decided to create some sweet rock n' roll music. That very night, the song Gotta Get Time was written and recorded. Even though they thought that a duo is great, they felt that a quartet is greater. So they called an old friend, Daniel Carlén, and asked him to join the band. Anton Karlsson, the last member to join the band, was found in the raging crowd during their first show and the lineup was complete. Since then, the John Bull Gang pressed the pedal to the metal and haven't looked back. They have supported big acts in Sweden like John Lindberg Trio and The Refreshments, and also managed to end up in sixth place in a nation wide music competition. The band have also done a tour i southern Europe and picked up some new audience, and let them get a taste of the swedish pure fuckin’ rock’n’roll, as a certain promoter said. Now, approximately 70 shows later and with their second album on the way they feel ready to leave a footprint in the history of Rock N' Roll.
