Orkesta Mendoza

This year at OTP World Stage of INmusic festival #11 Orkesta Mendoza will perform and make you dance to the rytham of drums!
With their current album ‚Sergio Mendoza Y La Orkesta’ (Le Pop Musik/Groove Attack) they already proved how sensationally it works. And after an impressive Europe Tour in 2012 they will bring desert wind from Arizona to INmusic festival! You can look forward to a melting pot of Mexican Mambo, psychedelic Cumbia, Merengue, Rumba, Jazz und Indie-Rock. A Bigband with punk attitude, who shows that Mambo is very much alive! Giant Sands Mastermind Howe Gelb, who watched this spectacular show, notes: „It’s so much fun to see them playing. They are maybe happiest band on the planet. At least they play the happiest sound.”
