St. Vincent
Annie Clark, also known as St. Vincent, is an American musician, singer, screenwriter, film director, and actress often compared to David Bowie. Annie Clark debuted as St. Vincent in 2007 with the release of ‘Marry Me’, rapidly gaining recognition as a highly original and compelling figure in modern music. Over the years, with seven sublime albums and many Grammy awards, St. Vincent solidified her status as one of the most influential artists of her generation. From the experimental soundscapes of her early work to the more polished and pop-oriented albums of recent years, St. Vincent continues to evolve and surprise, making her a must-see performer for any music lover. In 2024, she published her first fully self-produced album, ‘All Born Screaming’ with songs like ‘Broken Man’, ‘Big Time Nothing', and ‘Sweetest Fruit’. “If you’re born screaming, that’s a great sign,” says Clark, “because it means you’re breathing. You’re alive. My god. It’s joyous. And then it’s also a protest. We’re all born in protest in a certain way. It’s terrifying to be alive; it’s ecstatic to be alive. It’s everything.”
